The Roemans - a 1960's Florida band
For those of you that were around in the 1960's and especially those that lived in Florida, you may remember a band called "The Roemans".
Personnel:
BO GLOVER ld gtr
BERTIE HIGGINS drms
LANNY LANGFORD ld vcls
JOE PAPPALARDO bs
RONNIE SWARTZKOPF gtr
BARRY OAKLEY bs
45s:1 Your Friend/Give Me A Chance (ABC Paramount 10583) 19642
Miserlou/Don't (ABC Paramount 10671) 19653
Universal Soldier/Lost Little Girl (ABC Paramount 10723) 19654
Listen To Me/You Make Me Feel Good (ABC Paramount 10757) 19655
When The Sun Shines In The Mornin'/Love (That's All I Want) (ABC Paramount 10814) 19666
All The Good Things/Pleasing You Pleases Me (ABC Paramount 10871) 1966
Tommy Roe's backing band put out the above 45s and were not reticent about their British Invasion-style 'folk-rock' influences to the extent that you'd swear they were The Searchers!
Joe Pappalado's first wife created a scrap book from the touring days. I'm very appreciated of her work in putting all this information together and I have started to transfer some of the scrapbook to a website:

If you remember this group and would like to post some information or experience directly related with their music, please leave your blog here.
